BEER BREAD

* 2 cups self-rising flour
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 12 oz. beer
* 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (2 tablespoons for less greasy bread)
* shredded cheese (about a cup)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan, or coat with cooking spray.

2. Combine flour and sugar in a mixing bowl. Pour the beer over the dry ingredients and stir until thoroughly combined. Stir in cheese. Pour batter into greased pan and bake for 30 minutes in 350 degree oven.

3. Melt butter in microwave. Pour melted butter on top of loaf and sprinkle more cheese on top. bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until bread is browned.

4. Cool bread in pan for about 30-45 minutes. Remove from pan and continue to cool on wire rack.

crusty bread, slightly sweet, goes good with meat (steak, ribs and ect.) sort of greasy if you use the 4 tablespoons of butter.
This is all that was left by the time I got around to taking a picture.
