I didn't know Bush's bean factory was any where near Gatlinburg but it's only about 30 minutes away in Chesnut Hill. The cafe, country store & visitor center are right across from the plant. For free and pretty good food, it's worth a visit. You can also get a picture with Duke....
If you're in Fayette, Charles' is a good place for a plate lunch. Porkchop Pico (cheese, onions & peppers instead of gravy), fried tomatoes/squash, mac & cheese and cornbread, with drink & pie for about $8.00. Good food & service.
Not sure why you'd be in Fayette, (seemed like nice place), small town and kinda in the middle of nowhere. I'd go back for lunch though....
