Dockside Cafe, Port St. Joe, FL

The Dockside Cafe is right on the dock, no suprise there. Nothing fancy, food was good. I had the fried oysters, some of the better ones I had on this trip. Large bar, my wife tried a Key Lime Margarita, she'll skip it next time. The place is open, keep that in mind if it's a 100 degrees outside, it's hot. Be a good spot for a late evening beer and late supper with the water views.

Sharon's Cafe, Mexico Beach, FL

This place has a reputation on the internet for good food. Great waffles. Breakfast is their specialty but they have burgers, sandwitches and lots of other stuff. It's all good and greasy. Not fancy at all, think Huddle House only better service and food.

Joe Mamma's Pizza, Port St. Joe, FL

We went to this place expecting a regular pizza & beer joint, you know, real thick pizza with more focus on the cold beer. It was not at all what I expected. I felt kinda outta place to start with in shorts & flip-flops, it was fancy but this is Florida, they don't seem to mind if you aint wearing nothing but a swimsuit.

This was REAL Italian style pizza. The dude behind the counter actually flipped the dough around and played with it before he made your pie. Not all piled up with toppings either but what he put on it was really good. Then it's cooked in a real wood-fired pizza oven.

I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area, it's a good break from the seafood and all-around cool place. I'll be back, no dout. Next time it'd be a good spot for a Redneck Beer Review.
